    Pizza is Naples unrivaled culinary masterpiece – The team at Forno 500° take our wood-fire pizza very seriously. Our oven (Forno) has been specifically built by respected Artisans from Naples, These Artisans were flown into Ireland and accommodated here in Dublin. An ancient style wood burning oven using old world Neapolitan techniques took two weeks to build.

    We are dedicated to spreading the culture and traditions of the real (Vera) wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and can create that soft, light and airy dough with true smoky oak flavour from our wood burning oven. True Neapolitan pizzas are made with double zero flour, hand crushed San Marzano DOP tomatoes (grown at the foothills of Mount Vesuvius), and fior di latte (milky strips of fresh mozzarella) from Campagna. In Naples (as well as according to AVPN guidelines), fresh basil & extra virgin olive oil is placed on top of the pizza. Neapolitan pizza and the crust is expected to be lightly charred, slightly chewy, and soft in the center.

    4worldlovers: We like to keep the pies close to the flame which gives our pizzas plenty of beautiful charred spotting that really captures that unmistakable wood fired taste.

    The slightly bitter notes of the charr compliment the acidity of the tomatoes and creaminess of the mozzarella perfectly.

    We aim to use fresh, seasonal Irish grown produce as much as possible. We even grow some of it ourselves. What we can’t find in Ireland we get from the best Italian producers.

    All our meat is high quality Irish charcuterie produced using ethically raised free range pork from the lovely folk at the Wooded Pig in Co. Meath.

    We use Irish fior di latte mozzarella from the legendary Toons Bridge Dairy in west cork.

The guys are very nice and in addition to the regular menu of 6 pizzas (including some vegan ones) they do some delicious special ones from time to time.     4worldlovers: The Independent Pizza Company opened in the summer of 1984 and 2022 marks 38 years trading in Drumcondra.

    We are an Irish owned business and all our ingredients are bought in fresh and prepared in our own kitchens. We use Irish suppliers wherever possible, our pepperoni is produced in Dundalk, our mozzarella is from Bandon in Cork and our Irish chicken is supplied by Kelly Brothers Butchers in Crumlin who have supplied us since day one!

    Our pizza style is American – light crisp bases with both traditional and contemporary topping combinations.

    We also have several non-pizza options including chicken wings, main course salads, roasted Irish half-chicken and more.

    Vegan Mozzarella Cheese is also a new option on our pizzas for those who would prefer this.

    We have seating for fifty and we also offer a take-away service and delivery can be accessed via Deliveroo.

    Our signature pizzas are baked in our Woodstone pizza oven which was imported for us from Washington State in the USA.

    These pizza ovens are regarded as the best in the world and we believe help us create outstanding pizza bases.
