Noel was one of Ireland’s most successful amateurs. He won six championships, represented Ireland over 100 times. He played on the Walker Cup team in 2003. He still holds a number of course records, notably a round of 60 in Mullingar.

He turned pro in 2005 and competed on the Challenge Tour and played in a number of European Tour Events. He won the Europro money list in 2008.

He is a qualified PGA Professional finishing top in his class. He also is TPI Certified.
