Samadhi specialises in small group classes with the best yoga teachers in Dublin, who are brimming with experience, enthusiasm and passion for yoga.

Having heard rave reviews from colleagues and yoga friends, samadhi was on my list of studios to attend. I was not disappointed, the studio straddles two floors in Dublin's temple bar and is both intimate and inviting. I think it was 2013 or 2014 and I attended a Friday vinyasa class led by Elena, the class was strong yet balanced and what struck me was the tempo, the long holds and the attention to detail. It was only afterwards I learned that the studio was owned and operated by Greg an iyengar teacher. His particular style and his attention to detail permeated through into many of the classes held at the studio. This,coupled with the authenticity of the studio and its style is what drew me there to my teacher training in 2016. The training like the classes was detailed and authentic. The training was truly transformative and I am forever grateful to samadhi for providing such an oasis of calm in a bustling metropolis.

It helps me re-centre and let go of stress. The standard of teaching is very high. I would recommend Samadhi to anyone who is looking for a deeper quality yoga practice.

I had been practicing yoga on my own for a year or two by following online classes and attending the odd in person class in college. Once I finished my degree I knew that I wanted to use the extra time I had to dive into my passions outside of studying, and one of these was definitely yoga! I needed somewhere that looked like it had great teaching, wasn't too "om" and "namaste" (although I've since become fond of an aul om myself) and - most importantly to me - a place that offered a real sense of community. Oh also, a convenient central location was a practical concern. Well, I certainly hit the nail on the head when I booked my first class at Samadhi! I found the studio through a fair bit of online searching and its charm and friendly presentation really appealed to me. The convenience of being able to book flexibly online was great, and it looked like the studio ticked all of my boxes. Once I came to the first class I was hooked, and I think I've been there (in person and online) almost every week since my first class in mid 2019. The quality of teaching is phenomenal. The acceptance and kindness that radiates through the Temple Bar studio and our Zoom sessions is unparalleled. Even when I was a newcomer who could tell that there had been yogis practicing here for years I always felt as if I was being welcomed into a special place. Samadhi does some serious yoga, but doesn't take itself too seriously and I LOVE that attitude! There's a class for everyone, and even in more advanced classes there's a pace for you to work at. It's a sense of magic that's worth sharing. (Plus the classes are so physically beneficial ... you become stronger and fitter without even noticing because it's so enjoyable!)

Samadhi Yoga is my oasis of peace and serenity in the middle of the current pandemic that keeps me sane, balanced and focused during this tough time. With yoga teachers who share their passion for teaching yoga and I am forever grateful that they enjoy passing on their knowledge and experience to likeminded yogis who take part in the classes Us yogis are treated as part of a large family of like-minded yogi people. Due to the current health restrictions, classes are online via zoom – and passion for teaching yoga is still strong, if not stronger, interactive, and inclusive. All great for keeping our minds focused, our breath even and calming our sanity. Because of the wide variety of classes of different disciplines and levels, 7 days a week, there is always a class on and something to suit everyone.

You can be feel secure that you are in very skilled and safe hands. Catriona is also a natural empath and listener so you will feel very comfort in a session. It is all totally confidential.

I've been attending Catriona's classes for a long time now and can honestly say that she is truly passionate about what she does. Catriona is an Excellent teacher and creates an atmosphere of peace and serenity. Attended classes in Dublin Holistic Centre with Caitriona. She is a superb yoga teacher who notices everything as she walks around. She was constantly (in a nice way) correcting my posture and picking up on things that I was unaware I had been doing. Not only did she succeed in stretching out and strengthening my back which was what I was hoping for, but I was also walking about 2 inches taller after a few classes.

Catriona's yoga classes are brilliant. They combine enjoyable flow and movement with meditation and relaxation, and she always offers gentle guidance to each student while creating a warm and supportive class atmosphere. I have always left her yoga sessions with a spring in my step and a sense of well being.

Catriona is a fabulous teacher, she has lots of patience and makes classes enjoyable for our entire (very mixed level!) corporate group- it's a real highlight of our work week and has certainly bonded us as a group.
