The National Botanic Gardens are currently open from 9.30am to 4.30pm on weekdays and 10am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays.

The Gardens are an oasis of calm and beauty, with important collections of plant species and cultivars from all over the world. Visitors can also explore the exquisitely restored historic glasshouses.

The Gardens in Dublin are located in Glasnevin, just three kilometres from Dublin City Centre. There is also a location in Wicklow, in Kilmacurragh.

Visitors are not allowed to bring dogs (except guide dogs), play ball games, have picnics, engage in sports, or use bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, micro-scooters, balance bikes, or other vehicles (except wheelchairs).
